As the crisp air of September settles in and summer's warmth begins to fade, we find ourselves transitioning not only into a new season but also into a moment of reflection.
September is Suicide Prevention Month—a powerful reminder of the importance of mental health, connection, and the need to support one another. As the leaves begin to turn and the rhythm of the school year picks up, this month encourages us to deepen our commitment to both self-care and collective well-being. You can start with checking out the resources below, including a Tip of the Month on suicide prevention at work.
Also, in the spirit of renewal and care, FEAP is excited to announce the launch of our new Substack. This platform will serve as a centralized hub where you can easily access all of our articles, resources, and tools in one place. Substack will allow us to provide real-time updates and give you the newest information on well-being, mental health, and support—without waiting for our regular newsletter. Whether you’re looking for monthly articles on various mental health topics, tools for stress management, or resources to foster emotional resilience, you can now stay connected to the latest information as soon as it’s available!
Let’s take this September as an opportunity to nurture our minds, to prioritize mental health, and to reach out for help when needed. Together, we can make a difference in preventing suicide and creating a culture of care. Dive into the resources below and consider subscribing to our Substack to ensure you receive the latest updates and tools to support your well-being throughout the fall season and beyond.
